Mysterious, possibly related deaths in early '80s Hollywood. Mere happenstance? Sinister machinations? Just two cases of too much booze? We'll never know. Never.
lyrics
Lyrics:
What happened here ain’t complicated
Bill Beedle wound up exsanguinated.
Falling down from too much bourbon
or was it scotch? Not really certain.
Was there a burn hole in the carpet
next to his hand with a cigar butt?
Some people say it was a homicide
but more than likely Bill Beedle died
from falling down drunk again.
Head hit the table, a sudden end.
Bill Beedle’s body lied there dozing
over the weekend decomposing.
His younger lover, Jennifer Hart,
cleared of suspicion. She made a new start.
(she’s gorgeous!)
Love is a many splendored thing.
Two weeks later, Jen’s leading man
was on a boat and drunk again.
He and his walkin’ buddy, they had a fight
that woke his wife up late on that night.
Some people say it was a homicide
but more than likely she simply died
by falling drunk into the sea.
Coincidence or conspiracy?
